Anderson Columbia Co., Inc. Breaks into Corpus Christi Area After Acquiring Haas-Anderson Construction, LTD.

Anderson Columbia Co., Inc. (ACCI) closed on the acquisition deal of Haas-Anderson Construction, LTD. on April 30th, 2022, entering the infrastructure market of Corpus Christi, Texas.

The family-owned company, which was started in Florida in 1958, has been doing business in Texas since 2010, working in cities such as Laredo, Dilley and Cotulla. With this recent acquisition, ACCI will retain all employees of Haas-Anderson Construction, LTD., with current management retaining their roles and operations continuing as usual.

“We’re dedicated to be a team,” said Joey Anderson III, president of ACCI. “Haas- Anderson is a heck of a construction company and we’re excited to add them to the family and introduce them to a wider range of work and more materials. With this new addition to our company, taking care of all our new team members and clients is a number-one priority.”

With new area comes new roads that need to be rehabilitated and new bridges that need to be built; this acquisition will help further ACCI’s goals of carrying out safe and effective infrastructure throughout its communities. ACCI will be adding around 250 more employees to their company and look forward to continuing projects in Corpus Christi, Texas, and to starting new ones, such as the US 77 project in Kleberg County, Texas, which was announced in early April.

Anderson Columbia Co., Inc. is a general contractor specializing in asphalt paving, bridge building and design builds throughout Florida and Texas, while also maintaining its own asphalt plants and quarries.
